Become a FCS Mentor: Becoming a mentor requires completing the FCS Mentor Application, attending a two-hour training session, and completing a background check. Training dates/times are listed within the FCS Mentor Application and a background check form will be provided at training.

Forsyth County Schools Mentoring Program follows the FCS school calendar and all mentors are asked to meet with their mentee for at least 30 minutes per week for the duration of the school year. If you have any questions, please email fcsmentoring@forsyth.k12.ga.us.

When a business hosts a spirit night for Brandywine Elementary School, it partners with the school to create a special event where families, staff, and supporters are encouraged to visit the business on a designated date and time. In return, the business donates a portion of the evening’s sales—usually a percentage—back to Brandywine Elementary. This is a fun and easy way for the school community to come together, support a local business, and raise funds for school programs, activities, or classroom needs. Everyone wins: the school benefits financially, the business gains customers, and families enjoy a night out while supporting their school. We are grateful for the businesses in our community who open their doors and hearts to our students and families. We are excited about our partnership, and we look forward to sharing time together! Bringing in staff recognition treats is a thoughtful way to show appreciation for the hard work and dedication of school staff. These treats—such as snacks, desserts, drinks, or small goodies—are shared during breaks or placed in common areas to surprise and uplift staff members. Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply recognizing everyday efforts, these gestures help boost morale, strengthen team spirit, and create a positive and supportive work environment.
