Each year, our school celebrates our Day of Fun — a special event filled with exciting activities, delicious snacks, and prizes for our amazing students! This day is our way of celebrating our students’ hard work throughout the year and showing appreciation to our dedicated teachers and staff who make it all possible. We are seeking prize donations valued at $15–$25 to help us recognize and thank our incredible educators for their commitment to our students and school community.

Your support of our school is important and allows us an opportunity to provide extra resources to our teachers and students. Each level includes the following benefits for monetary contributions or value of goods/services approved by the administration.

★ Business listed on Sharon Elementary PTO’s website with link to business webpage. 

★Framed thank you certificate given for display in your place of business.  

★ Business can present a table at school events for promotion.

★ Digital business flyer provided by company sent to every parent via admin staff email twice per school year.

★ Hard copy business flyer, provided by company, sent home with every student twice per school year.

★ Business featured as Partners in Education Spotlight on Sharon PTO facebook and instagram page four times per year.

A mentor is a caring adult who offers encouragement, guidance, and a positive example to help students grow and thrive. Mentors listen well, build trust, and support young people in developing their strengths.

How to Become a FCS Mentor: Becoming a mentor requires completing the FCS Mentor Application, attending a two-hour training session, and completing a background check. Training dates/times are listed within the FCS Mentor Application and a background check form will be provided at training.

Forsyth County Schools Mentoring Program follows the FCS school calendar and all mentors are asked to meet with their mentee for at least 30 minutes per week for the duration of the school year. If you have any questions, please email fcsmentoring@forsyth.k12.ga.us.
