Whether you’re supporting classroom activities, helping with special events, or chaperoning field trips, your time and commitment make a real difference for our students and staff. If you’re interested in volunteering at any time during the school year, please start by completing this volunteer registration form. It’s the first step in the process and will allow you to sign the required volunteer agreement for anyone working with students in our building. Join the Car Line Volunteer Team!

We’re looking for wonderful parent volunteers to help during Friday morning car line duty at Haw Creek! Your support makes a huge difference in creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for our students as they arrive at school. What’s involved? Greeting students as they get out of cars, assisting as needed. Ensuring a safe, smooth flow to the car line smiling and having fun!

When?

We’re looking for volunteers on Fridays. The car line starts at 7:10. Please arrive at 7:00 am to sign in to the front office!

Why volunteer?

Be an important part of the school community. Help ensure every child has a safe and stress-free arrival. Each year in Forsyth County, several thousand high school juniors and seniors participate in community-led mock interviews as part of their third-year career pathway course or through their involvement in Internship Forsyth. These mock interviews offer students a valuable, professional one-on-one opportunity to practice their interviewing and resume writing skills with members of the business community. During the sessions, students receive immediate verbal and written feedback on their interview performance, resumes, and professional dress.

Thanks to the generous support of the Forsyth County Chamber, the Rotary Clubs of Forsyth County, and numerous business, industry, and community volunteers, all eight high schools in the county are able to participate in this meaningful experience.

We are currently seeking volunteers from the business community to serve as interviewers. No prior interviewing experience is necessary, as comprehensive support and scripts will be provided.
