FCS DECA Region Competition

As a DECA judge, you play a vital role in helping prepare the next generation of emerging leaders and entrepreneurs. During the competition, you will evaluate high school students as they apply classroom knowledge to real-world business situations. Students will present solutions to case studies, role-play scenarios, or prepared events in areas such as marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.

Your job as a judge is to listen, ask clarifying questions if needed, provide scores based on established rubrics, and offer constructive feedback to help students grow. No prior experience with DECA is required—just an interest in supporting students and a willingness to share your professional perspective.

4:30 pm - Awards Ceremony
